Gemini Celebration

We celebrated Chris's birthday {!} at our house 

on Saturday, during Memorial Day weekend.  

It was a small party, which was perfect- 

we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves 

and our company~

I shot a few pictures of the prep and a few of 

the yard, just for fun.  Happy Memorial Day

We found four wine barrels online and used them for the base of our outdoor patio table.  I've started a collection of random chairs to fill up the twelve-seater table, my favorite being the prayer chair below I found at an antique store on Portola {Clearwater Bazaar Antiques}.  

The brick patio is almost complete!

A bouquet of nasturtiums from our garden highlights the wine table.

Chris made the black walnut mini cutting board for me to dice garlic on.  They are for sale!

     

I made a coconut lime cheesecake {by request of the birthday boy} with a gingersnap and shredded coconut crust and mango puree drizzled on top.  AND mini raspberry and blueberry cheesecakes- ooohh la la!
